Karren Peters

Karren is passionate about pets and elevating the role they play in our lives.  With over 25 years of experience, she leads as the Founder Coach for Gold Medal Ventures and key initiatives in Pet Partnerships.  Karren joined the Gold Medal Ventures team with deep experience in brand management, including her most recent role leading Blue Buffalo Pet Treats.  Prior to joining BLUE, Karren merged her love of pets and business development, building a pet treat portfolio at Tyson Foods.  She was a founding member of a new ventures team that assessed the landscape, developed the go-to-market strategy, and created the products and brands.  The result was a $250M pet treat portfolio with a leading position in natural meat treats across channels. 

Karren is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University with a BA in Business Administration and MBA from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  Favorite things include family travel adventures, hiking, and spending time with two precious pups, Ella and Theo.
