Karren Peters

Karren is the Founder Coach for brands in our Growth Equity Fund. She brings extensive brand management experience in to the Gold Medal Ventures team, having served as Business Unit Director at Blue Buffalo and leading the integration of the Tyson Foods pet treat business.

Before her time at General Mills, Karren spent the majority of her career with Tyson Foods, where she successfully launched innovative platforms, developed channel strategies, and drove growth in retail branded businesses. Notably, she was a founder of the pet treat business, creating a highly profitable $250M portfolio.

Karren holds a BA in Business Administration from Ouachita Baptist University and an MBA from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In her free time, she enjoys family travel adventures, exploring hiking trails, and playing with her two precious pups, Ella and Theo.
